Family First: Acting Up! Drama Workshop

Let this workshop bring out the actor in you! Learn acting skills, including focus, voice and movement, and collaboration – all with your family. Once you've learned these basics, you'll use these skills to develop characters and unleash your imagination to create your own show.

Tiffany Bryant-Jackson is the founding Artistic Director of Open Cage Productions. A Charlotte transplant, Bryant-Jackson has worked as an actor, arts advocate, and teaching artist. After years of making Charlotte home, her focus shifted to community engagement when, on a preschool tour, she witnessed firsthand the general lack of access to the arts and how life-changing a show could be. That experience became the catalyst to found Open Cage Productions, a theatre company that focuses on providing culturally diverse theatrical and educational experiences for all. She is currently serving as the Co-Chair for Diversity On and Off Stage and Education Manager for Three Bone Theatre. Bryant-Jackson studied theatre at Elon University.
